Setup & compatibility
Does DATSpeed work with DAT One?
Yes — DATSpeed is built exclusively for DAT One (one.dat.com). It injects directly into the load board interface and activates automatically when you open the page.
Do I need to set up anything special for Gmail or Outlook?
Click the ⚡ icon in your toolbar → Full Settings → Connections, then click "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Outlook" and approve the permission popup. Both work on Chrome and Edge. DATSpeed only requests Send access — it cannot read, delete, or access any of your existing emails or inbox.
Can I connect more than one email account?
Yes — connect up to 3 email accounts at once, any mix of Gmail and Outlook. Pick which account sends per search tab, so different tabs can send from different accounts without reconnecting anything. Built for dispatchers running multiple MC numbers or companies. You can also create up to 3 email templates and up to 3 signatures, and attach any signature to any template.
Does DATSpeed work on Microsoft Edge?
Yes — DATSpeed works on Microsoft Edge just like on Chrome. Install it from the Chrome Web Store (Edge supports Chrome extensions), sign in with Google or Microsoft, and all features including 1-click email sending, route maps, RTS credit ratings, and smart filters are fully supported.
Does it work on Power DAT or other load boards?
Currently DATSpeed is built for DAT One only. Support for other platforms may be added in the future based on user demand.

How do the smart filters work?
Two checkbox filters appear directly inside DAT One's own filter bar — Hide Duplicate Loads and Hide Canada and Mexico Loads. Check either one and the results update instantly. Number Filters (rate, RPM, miles and weight) sit right beside them; see the questions below.
What are Number Filters?
A "Filters" button next to Exclude States opens a small panel where you can set a minimum rate, a minimum RPM, minimum and maximum miles, and minimum and maximum weight. Choose Highlight to mark the loads that match and dim the rest, or Hide non-matches to show only the loads that fit. You can try it on this page in the Number Filters demo above.
What's the difference between Highlight and Hide non-matches?
Highlight keeps every load on screen and simply marks the ones that match your numbers. Hide non-matches goes further: it loads more of your search behind the scenes and shows only the loads that match, so you see a full list of good loads instead of a list with gaps. To keep searches fast, Hide non-matches collects up to about 500 matching loads per search.
Do my filters stay when I refresh or switch search tabs?
Yes. Each search tab keeps its own Number Filters, and they come back after you refresh the page. A new search tab always starts with no filters. Filters follow the tab's position in the row, so if you close a tab in the middle, the tabs after it shift by one.
How does Auto Refresh work?
Auto Refresh presses DAT One's own Search button for you every few seconds, anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes, so new loads appear without you clicking. Because DAT runs the search itself, all your DATSpeed filters apply to the refreshed results. It pauses automatically when the browser tab is in the background, while you have a load open, and while your filtered results are still loading. You can also turn on random timing. The setting is shared across all your DAT One tabs.
How does the Profit Calculator work?
A Profit card appears under the rate in every load's detail panel. You enter your driver pay (a dollar amount per mile or a percentage of the rate), your fuel price and your truck's MPG once, and DATSpeed remembers them. For each load it shows your estimated net profit, profit per mile and margin, with a color that tells you at a glance whether the load is great, thin or a loss. You can include deadhead miles with one toggle. It's an estimate based on the numbers you enter and doesn't include tolls, insurance or other costs. Try it in the Profit Calculator demo on this page.
What is the Undo Send Delay?
It's an optional 4-second safety net for 1-click emails. When it's on, DATSpeed waits 4 seconds after you hit send, so you can cancel with one click before anything actually goes out to the broker. Turn it on in Full Settings → Filters.
What does Copy Load Details copy?
One click on the Copy Load Details button under the map card copies a clean text summary of the load: route, miles and rate, pickup date and equipment, company, MC number, contact, email, phone, reference ID and a map link. Anything the posting doesn't have is simply left out. Paste it into a text message, a chat or your TMS.
Can I copy a broker's phone number with one click?
Yes. Hover over any phone number in DAT One, in the load list or in the load details panel, and a small copy button appears. Click it and the number is on your clipboard. DAT's own click-to-call keeps working exactly as before, because DATSpeed never touches the number itself.
How do I update DATSpeed?
Chrome and Edge normally update extensions on their own, usually within a day of a new version. To update right away, either open the Chrome Web Store page for DATSpeed and update from there, or go to
chrome://extensions (edge://extensions on Edge), turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner, and click the Update button at the top of the page. Then refresh DAT One.Is my Gmail or Outlook data safe?
Absolutely. DATSpeed only sends emails — it never reads or stores your email data. Your Gmail credentials are handled entirely by Google's OAuth system, and your Outlook credentials by Microsoft's OAuth system. We never see your password.
How does the RTS credit rating feature work?
⚠ Important: You must have an active RTS Credit Pro account with RTS Financial to use this feature. DATSpeed connects to your existing RTS Pro account with one click — no separate login inside the extension. It captures your session token and uses it to fetch live credit data for each broker's MC number. The rating badge appears automatically inside the DAT One load detail panel. How does the Apex Capital integration work?
⚠ Important: You must have an active Apex Capital AMP account to use this feature. DATSpeed connects to your existing Apex AMP session with one click — no separate login inside the extension. Simply keep your Apex AMP tab open in your browser, click Connect in the DATSpeed popup, and factoring credit data will appear automatically on every broker you view. Billing & trial
What happens after my 7-day free trial?
After 7 days you'll be prompted to subscribe for $7/month (or $70/year — 2 months free). If you don't subscribe, the extension pauses until you do. No charges happen without you entering payment info.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time. Cancel from your account dashboard in Full Settings, or from any browser at datspeed.app/billing using the email you signed up with. Can't get in? Contact us and we'll cancel it for you. You won't be charged again, and your access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Can I switch from Monthly to Annual?
Yes — log in to your billing portal at datspeed.app/billing, select your subscription, and switch to Annual at any time. Stripe handles the proration automatically so you only pay the difference.
Team & Corporate Access
What is Team / Corporate Access?
One person (the admin) pays for a block of seats and hands out access codes to their dispatchers, instead of everyone subscribing individually. One bill covers the whole team.
How much do seats cost?
$6.50/seat for 2–4 seats, $6.25/seat for 5–14 seats, $6/seat for 15+ seats — billed monthly. Annual is exactly 10x the monthly rate at every tier, so 2 months are always free on Annual — on the largest teams, that works out to as low as $5/seat per month.
Is there a minimum number of seats?
Yes — every team needs at least 2 seats, always. This counts every seat currently in use plus any codes you've generated but haven't been redeemed yet, so you can't accidentally shrink your team below what you've already handed out to real people.
I'm already paying $7/month individually and want to start a team — what happens to my subscription?
We automatically refund the unused portion of your current billing period, then cancel it. Your access never has a gap — the team subscription takes over immediately.
I'm already paying $7/month individually and want to join someone else's team — what happens to my subscription?
Same treatment as starting a team yourself — redeeming a code automatically refunds the unused portion of your individual subscription and cancels it. You'll get a confirmation email with the exact amount, and it lands back on your original payment method (typically 5–10 business days).
I'm still on my free trial — what happens if I join a team?
Nothing to refund, since you haven't paid anything yet. Redeeming a code just replaces your trial countdown with real, ongoing team access.
Does the admin have to personally use DATSpeed?
No — you choose at setup. "Admin + Dispatcher" means you use one of the seats yourself. "Admin-only" means you manage the team and billing but never personally use DAT One tools through DATSpeed — you're just running the account for your dispatchers.
Who gets billed — the admin, or every dispatcher separately?
Only the admin. One card, one monthly or annual charge, covering every seat. Dispatchers who redeem a code pay nothing — DATSpeed is free to them.
What happens to dispatchers if the team's payment fails?
They lose access along with everyone else, but they'll never see a payment-related message — since they're not the ones paying, DATSpeed tells them to contact their admin instead of asking them to update a card that isn't theirs.
Can a dispatcher leave the team on their own?
Not directly — there's no self-service "leave" option. If someone wants off a team, the admin needs to revoke their code from the Team dashboard, which pulls their access immediately.
How does the admin remove one specific dispatcher?
Revoke their code from the Team dashboard — this works whether the code is still unredeemed or already in use. If they were actively using it, access is cut immediately.
Can I be part of two teams, or run my own team while also being someone else's dispatcher?
No — one team relationship at a time. If you're already on a team, your current admin needs to revoke your code before you can redeem a different one.
If I add or remove seats, does my bill change right away?
Adding seats takes effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the rest of your current billing period. Reducing seats takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately — so no one currently using a seat gets cut off mid-period.
What happens if the whole team subscription gets cancelled, not just suspended?
Everyone loses access at once — this is different from a temporary suspension. A suspended team can be restored with one click once the issue is resolved; a fully cancelled subscription is final, and would need a brand new team subscription to come back.
